Entering Employee Hours for Payroll

In the Process Payroll Wizard, Brass Jacks Bookkeeper automatically calculates paychecks for salaried employees. If you don't have timesheets for an employee, you must enter information for Brass Jacks Bookkeeper to process pay for the employee. (For information on creating and importing timesheets, see Creating Timesheets with the Wizard, Entering Timesheet Information, and Importing Timesheets.)

To enter an employee's time for processing payroll:
  1. In the Process Payroll Wizard, click Enter Time for an employee.
  2. In the Employee Payroll Entry dialog box, In the Earnings section, type the hours for this pay period.
  3. To not use the calculated pay, select the Make amount field editable check box, and then adjust the amount as needed.
  4. Click OK.
