Writing Payroll Checks
You can issue payroll checks for each employee at designated payroll periods and make accurate payments to federal, state, and local tax authorities for payroll taxes. You must have the employee in your employee database before processing the employee’s payroll.
To automate payroll deductions, you can purchase, download, and install the current payroll tax tables to use with Brass Jacks Bookkeeper. (See Updating a Payroll Tax Table.) Please consult your accountant about your payroll tax requirements.
