Updating a Payroll Tax Table
When you write payroll checks, Brass Jacks Bookkeeper can retrieve payroll tax deductions from optional payroll tax tables. These tax tables can be purchased separately and need to be updated every year. Sometimes free updates are also needed during the year.
Before processing automated payroll, check to make sure you have the current payroll tax table.

Complete installation instructions are included on the download page after purchasing the tax tables.
You don’t need to purchase the tax tables if you want to manually enter payroll deductions. However, the downloadable tax tables are needed for automated withholding and for some reports.
