Printing Customer Statements

You can view and print customer statements from the Report Manager dialog box.

To view and print customer statements:
  1. Choose Reports > All Reports and Forms.
  2. In the Report Manager dialog box, click the arrow for the Accounts Receivable group.
  3. In the Accounts Receivable group,  in the Invoices/Estimates section, click the view icon for either the Customer Statements - Historical or Customer Statements - Unpaid.
  4. In the Brass Jacks Bookkeeper - Reporting dialog box, to print statements, click Print.
  5. In the message box about statements:
To print statements for your records, click No to print the statement report on your default printer.
To print formal statements to send to your customers, click Yes.
  6. In the Customer Statement Print dialog box, print the statements using the paper or PDF preferences defined in each customer record, or print all the statements to either paper or PDF.
  7. If you’re using windowed envelopes, adjust the position where the customer’s address prints on the statement to make it line up with the window on the envelope.
  8. If you’re printing on paper that already has your company name and address, to not print the company information with the statements, select the Suppress Company Information check box.
  9. To print your company logo on the statements instead of the text-based company name and address, select the Use Company Logo check box.
If you select this check box, Brass Jacks Bookkeeper automatically selects the Suppress Company Information check box.
  10. Select a style for printing statements on plain paper or PDF by clicking the Change invoice style link. (See Selecting Invoice Styles for Printing.)
  11. To print the statements, click Print.
