Importing a Tax Table

Typically, payroll tax tables are automatically installed for Brass Jacks Bookkeeper to use. However, there might be times when a periodic enhancement is required that you’ll need to import.

Note: If you purchased and downloaded an *.exe file, see Updating a Payroll Tax Table for details.

To import a tax table:

1. Choose File > Import > Import Tax Tables.
2. In the Update Tax Accounts dialog box, click Browse.
3. In the Brass Jacks Bookkeeper Tax Account Update dialog box, locate and select the bkttu.txt file saved on your computer.
4. Click Open.
5. In the Update Tax Accounts dialog box, click Import to finish importing the tax table.
