Viewing a Customer’s Sales and Transaction Summary

You can view a complete summary of the customer’s sales (including historical statistics), invoices and payments, and a complete list of all transaction in the Summary tab in the Customer Detail dialog box.

To view summary information:
  1. From the Brass Jacks Bookkeeper workspace, click the Manage Customers icon.  
  2. In the Customer List dialog box, select the row for the customer.
  3. Click Detail or double-click the row.
  4. In the Customer Detail dialog box, click the Summary tab.
  5. In the Customer Summary dialog box, in the lower section, view the 5-year sales summaries by dollar amount and by item.
  6. To view details for an invoice or payment listed in the upper sections, click the link for that line item. After reviewing the invoice or payment, click Close.
  7. To view all transactions, click the Show all customer transactions link at the bottom. In the Customer Transaction History dialog box, to see the details of a transaction, click the transaction’s link. Click Close to return to the Customer Transaction History dialog box. Then click Close again to return to the Customer Summary dialog box.
  8. Click Close to return to the Customer Detail dialog box.

The Summary tab now has a Show button to return to the full summary view.
