Specifying Backup Settings

You can specify whether Brass Jacks Bookkeeper should remind you about performing a manual backup or whether it should do an automatic backup.

To specify backup settings:

1. Choose Utilities > Backup/Restore Database.
2. In the message box, click Yes.
3. In the Database Backup & Restore dialog box, click the Settings tab.
4. Select how many days you want Brass Jacks Bookkeeper to wait between backups. (You can specify 1-30 days.)
5. To be reminded to make a backup, select Prompt me.
   To have Brass Jacks Bookkeeper start the backup process without asking you, select Handle automatically.
6. To any changes, click Close.
