Sending a Quick Note

When viewing Accounts Receivable details, you may want to send a quick note to a customer as a reminder that there is a payment due.

To send a quick note:
  1. In the Company section of the task bar on the right, click Company Overview.
  2. To view additional information, click a link (such as 31-60 Days) in the Accounts Receivable section.
  3. In the Receivables Overview dialog box, select an invoice that is due.
  4. To send a note to the customer about the selected invoice, click Send Quick Note.
  5. In the Quick Note dialog box, fill in the necessary information (such as the recipient, subject, and message).
  6. To attach a file (such as a copy of the invoice), click the Browse button. In the Email Attachment dialog box, locate and select the file to attach. Click Open.
  7. Click Send.  
  8. When finished in the Receivables Overview dialog box, click Close.
