Sending a Quick Note
When viewing Accounts Receivable details, you may want to send a quick note to a customer as a reminder that there is a payment due.
To send a quick note:
- In the Company section of the task bar on the right, click Company Overview.
- To view additional information, click a link (such as 31-60 Days) in the Accounts Receivable section.
- In the Receivables Overview dialog box, select an invoice that is due.
- To send a note to the customer about the selected invoice, click Send Quick Note.
- In the Quick Note dialog box, fill in the necessary information (such as the recipient, subject, and message).
- To attach a file (such as a copy of the invoice), click the Browse button. In the Email Attachment dialog box, locate and select the file to attach. Click Open.
- Click Send.
- When finished in the Receivables Overview dialog box, click Close.
