Reprocessing a Downloaded File
Bookkeeper keeps track of the names of the file that you have processed. If you need to reprocess a downloaded file, you can rename it or delete it from the Processed Files list.
- To rename the file, locate the file in the monitored folder. Then, right-click the file, choose Rename from the shortcut menu and type a new name. Be careful not to change or remove the OFX file extension.
- To delete a file from Processed Files list, open the Electronic Download File Select dialog box for bank accounts or credit cards — depending on the type of file you need to reprocess. (See Selecting a Downloaded OFX File.) Then, select the file in the Processed Files list and click Delete. When the confirmation message appears, click Yes.
The renamed or ‘unprocessed’ file should automatically show up in the Files Awaiting Processing list. If you delete the file from the disk, though, you must re-download the file.
