Finding Credit or Debit Card Transactions
Once you've used a card for paying bills and entered the information in Brass Jacks Bookkeeper, you can locate existing transactions.
To find company card transactions:
- In the Brass Jacks Bookkeeper workspace, click Credit Card Payment in the Payables section in the workspace. In the Bill Payments By Credit/Debit Card dialog box, click Find at the bottom.

Choose Search > Card Payments. - In the Search Criteria Selection for Credit/Debit Card Transactions dialog box, specify information in the filters at the top of the dialog box.
For example, you can search for a specify card's transactions, the payee for a bill, the account for the transaction, a memo, or amount. (With the amount you can search for amounts that are <, <=, >, >=, or = than the specified amount.) - To view only transactions dated within a specific date range, select a date range from the Predefined list or indicate specific To and From dates. (You can type the dates or click the arrow to select a date on a calendar.)
- After changing the search criteria, click Find at the bottom of the dialog box.
- If necessary, change the search criteria and click Find again.
To do another search from scratch, click the Clear button and specify new search criteria. - In the list of matching transactions, to view a transaction's information, select the transaction in the list and click Detail at the bottom of the dialog box.
- If you don't find any matches, click Close.
