Editing Jobs
If you've added a job for a customer into the Customer Detail dialog box, you may need to adjust the job's information (for example, change the status).
To edit a job:
- From the Brass Jacks Bookkeeper workspace, click the Manage Customers icon.
- In the Customer List dialog box, select the row for the customer.
- Click Detail or double-click the row.
- In the Customer Detail dialog box, click the Jobs tab.
- On the Jobs tab, adjust the information in a job's section.
- Type descriptive information in the Description box.
Each job must have a description. - Select a status from the Status list: Proposed, In Progress, Completed, or Closed.
- If you started working on the job and changed the status to In Progress, you may want to specify the start date in the Started box.
If you finished the job and changed the status to Completed, you may want to specify the ending date in the Completed box. - Click OK.
