Making Money
Making money is the top priority for most businesses. Brass Jacks Bookkeeper helps you keep track of your business income using invoices, payment entries, and bank deposits.
When someone owes your company money for a product or service you provide, the amount owed becomes part of your Accounts Receivable. The person or company that owes you money becomes one of your clients or Customers in Brass Jacks Bookkeeper.
To track your accounts receivable:
- Let the customer know what is owed by creating an invoice for your products or services.
- Get the customer’s money and apply the payment to the invoice. (See Entering Payments for Invoices.)
This is sometimes referred to as Cash Application. - Put the money in the bank.
