Entering ATM Withdrawals
If you make ATM withdrawals from a bank account, you need to enter that information into Brass Jacks Bookkeeper.
Note: Before you indicate ATM withdrawals from a bank account, make sure the bank account you want is open. To change bank accounts, see Changing Bank Accounts.
To indicate an ATM withdrawal from a bank account:
- Choose Banking > Enter ATM Transactions, or click ATM Withdrawal in the Banking section of the task bar on the right.
- In the ATM Transaction dialog box, to change the bank account after opening the dialog box, click the Bank Account link. (See Changing Bank Accounts.)
- Specify the Date and type the Amount.
- Select the Vendor and the Account.
To make changes to the Vendor list, click the Vendor link and choose a command from the menu. (See Managing Vendors.) - Type Comments.
- If you wish, select a Customer and a Job for this withdrawal transaction.
To make changes to the Customer list, click the Customer link and choose a command from the menu. (See Adding Customers.) To make changes to the Job list, click the Job link. (See Adding Jobs.) - To complete the transaction, click Save.
