Entering ATM Withdrawals

If you make ATM withdrawals from a bank account, you need to enter that information into Brass Jacks Bookkeeper.

Note: Before you indicate ATM withdrawals from a bank account, make sure the bank account you want is open. To change bank accounts, see Changing Bank Accounts.

To indicate an ATM withdrawal from a bank account:
  1. Choose Banking > Enter ATM Transactions, or click ATM Withdrawal in the Banking section of the task bar on the right.
  2. In the ATM Transaction dialog box, to change the bank account after opening the dialog box, click the Bank Account link. (See Changing Bank Accounts.)
  3. Specify the Date and type the Amount.
  4. Select the Vendor and the Account.
    To make changes to the Vendor list, click the Vendor link and choose a command from the menu. (See Managing Vendors.)
  5. Type Comments.
  6. If you wish, select a Customer and a Job for this withdrawal transaction.
    To make changes to the Customer list, click the Customer link and choose a command from the menu. (See Adding Customers.) To make changes to the Job list, click the Job link. (See Adding Jobs.)
  7. To complete the transaction, click Save.
