Adding Images to an Inventory Record

You can add up to five images to the inventory item’s record. Brass Jacks Bookkeeper supports BMP, GIF, and JPG/JPEG graphic files.

To add an image for an inventory item:
  1. Choose Inventory > Manage Inventory, or click the Manage Inventory icon in the Inventory section of the workspace.  
  2. In the Inventory dialog box, select the item and click Detail, or double-click the item.
  3. In the Inventory Detail dialog box, click the Image tab.
  4. If there are already one or more images includes, click a numbered tab on the right that has no image in it.
  5. Click Add Image.
  6. In the Inventory Image dialog box, locate and select the image.
  7. Click Open.
  8. To view the image if it is too large to fit, click View Full Size. In the Image View window, as needed, use the scroll bars or resize the window. Then, click Close.
  9. Click OK.
To replace an image with a different one:
  1. Choose Inventory > Manage Inventory, or click the Manage Inventory icon in the Inventory section of the workspace.  
  2. In the Inventory dialog box, select the item and click Detail, or double-click the item.
  3. In the Inventory Detail dialog box, click the Image tab.
  4. Click the numbered tab on the right for the image to replace.
  5. Click Replace Image.
  6. In the Inventory Image dialog box, locate and select the image.
  7. Click Open.
  8. Click OK.
To delete an image:
  1. Choose Inventory > Manage Inventory, or click the Manage Inventory icon in the Inventory section of the workspace.  
  2. In the Inventory dialog box, select the item and click Detail, or double-click the item.
  3. In the Inventory Detail dialog box, click the Image tab.
  4. On the right, click the numbered tab for the image to delete.
  5. Click Remove Image.
  6. In the confirmation message box, click Yes.
  7. Click OK.
